Race/Class: Male Human Legendary Guardian. Str: 19, Int: 8, Dex: 19, Con: 19, Wis: 19, Chr: 19, Lev: 40, Exp: 5,110,744,139, HP: 509, MP: 519, Stm: 7.
Spells: Heal, Cleanse, Jolt, Camouflage, Nourish, Thornshield, Stoneform, Gaea's Blessing, Nature's Fury, Stormwrath.
This druid can morph into a Wolf.
This character has been a level 40 Druid, with 509 HP, and 519 MP.
Autek is a Male Human Legendary Guardian. He looks extremely strong, smart, extremely fast, and very sexy. In one hand he holds a Rune Staff, which glows with a magical aura, the other a Liveoak Aegis. He is wearing a Werewolf Hide, and a Stalker's Mask protects his head. Around his neck sits a Veridian Charm. He has a Spyglass and a Jingle Band around his wrists. He is wearing a Ring of Thunder, a Ring of Fire, a Ring of Astray, a Guild of Crafters Membership Ring, and Wizard Cuffs on his hands. His feet are protected by Elven Work Boots.
Will look at stuff from either server, but if offering in 1a bear in mind the exchange rate isn't anywhere near 10:1 anymore.
If offering in main, might take a shiney paladin (5er+) and gold / high end items.

Leave an offer on here please and what equipment your bid includes with the character. If you'd just like to bid on items, please do so on the items for sale thread. Again, leave an offer here, I'm not on nearly as much as I had been and it would save me the time of just posting the offer here myself.

Currently there is an increased demand for multi gold, while the amount of multi gold out there willing to be traded for 1a gold has decreased, or at the least remained the same. The demad curve is shifted to the right to increase the quantity sold (traded in our case), which creates a new equilibrium price. So because of the disparity between current supply and demand, the price must increase if that demand is to be met.

And as a note the druid is worth as much as people are willing to pay for it, which is why it never sells as you think it and the staff are worth so much more then they actual are!

As for the druid not selling. . . Well I was at one point ready to sell it along with the Rune Staff and Veridian Charm for 70m main, but he needed time to get the gold and it fizzled out over time. The thing is borderline priceless though, with so few level 40's period let alone the most well rounded class there is with 5 stats perfect and very nice HP. . . Of course it would take the right price to actually part with it.
The same goes for the Rune Staff. The only other one in game I believe is in Scripto's possession and there is about 0% chance that will ever change hands again. If there is anyone out there who wants one of the oldest questies in the game along with it's amazing vamparic rate (especially in combination with this druid breaking triple digits with .6 vamp /drool), of course it's going to take the right price.
I agree with things only being worth what people are willing to pay, but it takes a market to drive prices, and there really isn't a developed market for these things as they're one (or two in the case of the Rune Staff) of a kind.

If the ratio isn't 10:1 then there's some ripping off going on.
Even when people were trading you was still offering 8:1 if that.
Also an Fyi, if people wanted a lvl 40 on main they could easily by using 1 character like you did, but instead they lvl their full party.

Now lets keep this thing on topic. I'm not sure which server I'll end up playing, but it'll be whichever one I don't sell my character on first. Again I'd like to go back to my old paladin days even though I'd imagine they still suck pretty hard, but it'd be fun anyways.

Since most people using 15-17 attackers on main, I'm at a loss why the ratio isn't just 15:1

It's definitely a weapon for those who play solo, no doubt about it because whether you've got .3 vamp and a higher base or .6 vamp and a lower base, in a party you rarely need all the vamp, only on a few bosses really.
Neither here nor there though, lets keep it bids only, or at least relative to the sale of the character.
I've gotten a few memo's about paladins people have, but both have been halflings. I'd much prefer a human if there are any out there, but may settle for a ling if need be.
