im looking to compile a list of what every potion and unknown brew does in game for a site, and i was hoping some of you out there would be able to help me along in telling me what some of them do.

Most of the Unknown Brews are just that... unknown. Because they usually act as intermediate steps in alchemy, players don't normally try them out! The only one that is known for certain is Unknown Brew #124470, which acts like an Advanced Healing Potion.

Still, here's a list of potions and their effects that I can think of:


Advanced Healing Potion - 100 HP.
Antitoxin - Clears any current poisons but gives you a 1-point poison instead; stops monsters poisoning you.
Basic Healing Potion - 20 HP (or is it 15 HP?)
Crimson Flame - Fully heals you.
Dark Mist Potion - Invisibility for about 8 minutes.
Elixir of Mixed Fortune - Uncertain, but half the time it gives you a lot of HP, other times it takes it away.
Etheral Potion - Prevents monsters and players from attacking you, but also stops you from attacking. Effectively equivalent to Greater Pact.
Healing Potion - 50 HP.
Jaguar Potion - Gives you limitless stamina for 30 seconds - attacks that normally deplete stamina use the equivalent of 10 units.
Lifewater Potion - Fully heals you, clears poison and satisfies thirst for a very long time.
Mana Water - 75 MP.
Nightshade Elixir - Restores HP, MP, Stamina, Hunger, Thirst and clears poison.
Potion of Futility - Absolutely nothing at all!
Potion of Humidity - Makes you incredibly thirsty. (WARNING: Has same image as Nightshade Elixir)
Potion of Recall - Instantly teleports you to your local tavern.
Reduction Agent - Kills you instantly! (WARNING: Has same image as Unknown Brew #124470)
Syepraq - Clears poison and displays a funny message! Can make you hungry.
Taraxacum Oil - Uncertain, possibly 90 HP. Might also clear poison.
Tarma Potion - Invisibility for about 2 minutes.
Templum Venenum - Unknown; possibly the same as the Potion of Recall.
Unknown Brew #124470 - 100 HP
Vampire Blood Potion - Turns you into a vampire for about 5 minutes! From a gameplay point of view, it adds 1 to your current weapon's Vamparic rating; i.e. for non-Vamparic weapons, for every point of damage you dish out, a point of HP is restored.


Those are the potions that I can think of off the top of my head. Hope it adds to your list well. I confess that Syepraq and Taraxacum Oil aren't actually potions; the former is a herb and the latter is an externally-applied oil.

Where do you get Potion of Recall?

And has anyone apart from a staff member ever made a templum venenum? Coz dosnt it need like, 86 crafting ingredients?

As far as I know, the Potion of Recall is unobtainable by conventional methods. I think Pandilex dropped one and picked it up again sometime in the past. It might make an interesting boss drop, mind you, especially on 1-alt.

ove had 3 potions of recalls in my time, all from pandilex. i quickly used them all so they wouldnt be taken ^.^

then there was the time he gave me mass ammounts of gold and i took a run for it and depositted into my account, bad idea, i ended up getting kicked off the server and logging back on with a name change to mrs_pirate x.x

etheral potion doesnt work in triplex or equivalent events
