Your Favorite Former Staffer!

And Squiggle is correct - he's referring to the Mountain of Bones in the Land of the Dead (a test are throne I constructed while playing with ideas for a Land of the Dead area for NM) - the only way out was to die, it was used as punishment for things like people begging to be killed (for a staff kill), so I'd send them there to be killed by an Avatar instead.
Since it's bad form to vote for myself, I'm debating between Sarianna and Isyng (will vote later if Exor hasn't succeeded in causing the thread to be locked yet).

Yes Cryic, i remember getting sent there a couple of times lol.
Exor, i dont know what you're problem is, but you seem to have it with not just me, but a few other people. Anyway, Cyric was, and still is a decent guy, just because he probably banned you a couple of times doesn't make him a bad person. You're saying he had a go at your for PKing him.... well poor Exor, you've never had a go at anybody for anything, never made anybody feel bad, or put anybody down, have you now go on, think of something smart to say so Richard can reply right after, adding to the stupidness

When I first started playing the game of nightmist, I was on my first crit ever, I had reached t he level to where I had to go to cloud city. I begged almost everyone to take me to Cloud City. Finally this guy comes around named 'Robicus' and takes me. After that when ever I needed a ride 'Robicus' would give me a ride to where ever I needed to be. Fianlly when I got level 10 I joined his clan 'The Red Legion' the best clan to ever be in the game of Nightmist.
Garrick was the funniest, nicest, and just the plain out best staffer ever. Garrick was the best there was, the best there is, and the best there ever will be.
Oh yea, Red Legion Pwnz J00!!!!1111
For the slow people, This was Pre-Reset, and Robicus=Garrick
Just incase, Some fellow Red Legion is reading this. my crits we're 'Bad,Sad,Mad,Glad' and 'Bad' being my main crit. I remember some people, not many .. the ones i can think of are 'Razor,The_Rock' but other then that I can't remember any 0.o Maybe if you stated your name I'd remember you

I still have the directions to the Harlequin somewhere I think. Thanks to my brother mapping out the area as soon as it was released (he wasn't strong enough to take on the boss, so he just mapped the area for me) and then giving me the directions (suprising how easily a level 28 mage could solo back then), we got the second ever mask (first was ebony... damn him). Also made a nice amount of money getting them and selling them to peopleand I can't believe I still remember this - directions to get out of the void are sseudsuu lol
Anyway, back on topic... i'd have to say Sarianna. She was pretty cool

Garrick always tried to make gaming fun with quests. And would take people to his mental ward and make the game tad bit more fun and was always uncloaked to help players.
Cyric was ok. He loved to ban people and Take away dex for months for the unjust reasons. He ban me for two weeks for calling a friend a !3**** <spelled just like that! no diff. So yea he was a bit power hungey
Zenith was hella funny, he was all gangster.
Pengant I think was the one who had the town took out desert so BLAH

Alot of people I know are not fans of Cyric and his old 'Holier than thou' attitude, including myself, which he flaunted ever so much while he was staff. That being said, to say he was the best staffer ever, and ever will be is a bit rash.Cyric was and always will be the greatest member of the nightmist staff.
Meanwhile, yes, Garrick was a great guy.

I wasn't quite sure who to choose, Myst was a good friend when he and I both played, as were some of the other staff members on there. Eventually I voted Cyric, I always said he should have been kept on staff and as far as his actual work goes, he developed some of the best areas the game has seen to date (though I must admit I haven't had a chance to explore some of the newer areas yet.)

kharybdis and havanor have been the only people to ever roleplay with me, until recently. i rmemeber him also making the bartender talk, not in german, but to help find a band of thieves that attempted to kill me "i asked someone to attack me until i had under 50 hp to help me roleplay". I think aet'thol was a very intersting boss, yet has lost something after he left staff. i cant say i would vote for him to be best staff member, but if he would have stayed longer, we might have seen some incredibly good areas come about... uh... I'd vote for Kharybdis, beacause he created the graveyards, which is just a really cool area, and once hit me with an "I can kill you anytime, anywhere for 1 point of damage", and because he made the bartender speak german, which scared me at first. And he just did a great job as a staff, I think... But i'm gonna null that vote, cause i've known him since i was six. Which kinda may bias my opinion.

You guys know i secretly snoop around from time to time right?
If anyone cares how im doing, well i telecomute to a certain online MMORPG that i cant technically tell anyone, and have a paid position as staff there.
Its pretty cool and i get to play around with people alot, i host make shift moshes there sometimes to remember the old times.
I'm on my way to becoming a police officer here wheeeee.
And damnit i was the ony one (might have changed) that hosted a non-mosh Staff run event, remember that time ninjakitty beat down people in my secret room? It took like 30mins for everyone to finally defeat her.
I saw the new board and had to post.
Btw JLH, i went through my files and found like 40 descriptions i wrote before i left the state, crazy.
and i dont want to hear it, i am NOT a TV

he told me he quit...I think Kharybdis had great potential, but, saddly, was never given a fair shot. Too bad really, he's an excellent writer and genuinely has pride in his work.

I remember Zenith was the "Rabbi" at my first wedding. I also remember his "Ghetto" having bunnies in it. He sent me to the Void for killing his bunnies

And actually,
Zentith is a Male Runic Assassin, he is blindingly fast, impecably agile, and divinely cunning. He is weilding a Runic Dagger of Devastation. He posessess a soft white glow of immortality about him.
it was something in that line.

er.....not sure where you got that from, but before and after your time various different staff members have ran events that are different to moshes. And damnit i was the ony one (might have changed) that hosted a non-mosh Staff run event, remember that time ninjakitty beat down people in my secret room? It took like 30mins for everyone to finally defeat her.
