Or just /a ttb. Or /cast rapid fire/ttb ect ect ect. A simple command that may be considered lazy by some players, and a time saver to others.

It simply attacks the monster at the top of the list.

I'd agree for somewhere you've been before, but not for new areas. And considering you're unable to block the command for new areas, then I'm against it.
It'd make exploring easier.
Might as well just go about using a bot program that plays for you.

I say stop being lazy and just change the macroes. You're not always going to be better if you take the easy way out. And if you want to talk about time saving you won't find it by playing a game.

I can see one very good use for this macro.

When you are out training with a bajillion characters, and another raiding party comes across you and its showdown time....

When there are 2 bajillion visible characters on 1 square you know how difficult it is to scroll down 1 bajillion windows to find the guy you want to kill first, before you get deaded. Whoever is on the top of the list is done for.

I don't see a real solution for this though, perhaps each character sees themself on the top of the window, unless their are hostiles nearby. Perhaps always show other players on top, but then that disrupts clerics from casting group spells by clicking themselves, or cleansing, if they dont have that stuff macroed, but i know when im out all my macro slots are full of /cast divine restoration/xxx bajillion characters

Anyways you get the idea. for PvP its helpfull.
