i said either france/portugal/brazil would win, 2/3 are still there atm france would be good, hate the germans, hate the italians....and france has a better chance against the 2 than portugal

its funny how people keep changing their minds about who they think are going to win.. of course they are going to argue that they were going for the team the whole time.. but we all know they lie

I didn't think brazil would win, not even close.. they get very lucky with the team draws, and they always manage to play all the easy teams first.. but as soon as a remotely difficult team comes along they struggle to keep their posture..they expected to walk through the world cup, and ronaldo especially think this..he bearly moves; but can't complain he scores...brazils defence is completely rubbish..anyone who would have watched the highlights of the game would have laughed at the amount of defending done at the time of henry's goal.

I think germany will win, they proved themselves many of times and their big match against argentina proved that they are a strong side and a threat...they play italy tomorrow, another strong side, so depending on the outcome of that match and the france portugal we are definately going to see one interesting final on sunday

id love to see that happen, but what id love 2 see more is, Italy goes up 1-0 and be all italian and sit back, France attacks and attacks, a late goal by France catches them, Italy used all its subs defensively, while France uses theirs offensively(my boy trezeguet comes in mwahah) and France wins 2-1

yeah very unlucky but a couple things i didnt like
1)Its not like the italians outplayed the french, the french dominated them but a great save by buffon and a unlucky crossbar hit by trezeguet
2)the ref didnt even see waht zidane did, HE SAW THE REPLAY!!!! thats not allowed for a ref to make decisions off a replay(they say he talked 2 his assistant, but even an assistant can only call fouls.....in any case it happend behind ref's back, not the 1st time they would have had 2 let something go cuz it was behind his back. Anyway game of that magnitude, u dont send off, let fifa do the punishments)....and zidane is the master of penalties, he was not gonna miss
3)french coach is a dumbass taking off thierry henry and frank ribery, not smart

Bar Gerrard, the foreigners in their club teams make them appear better than they really are. I guess we'll be hearing the whole "This year we really stand a chance" thing again. Followed by "Rooney's redemption" for his red card... And finally followed by a loss in which everyone else but the team actually gets blamed. Deja voo.

As for the final, lets forget about it, the best team in the competition France got robbed for some meatball loving fool getting his chest in the way of the great Zidanes head. What a sham.

And btw, Italy wasn't even on the list lol, yet U.S.A was up there. And respect to their keeper.
