How about, something that would activate, when the holder died? Something like a handgrenade, equiped on the character, and when that character died, all crits on the square die as well? Would be a nice anti-PK device... (and hopefully, not used in a mosh.... LOL). As it is now, a large party of thiefs/druids/mages, can run around invis, and clean up anything they come across, while others are training. Granted, it would kill everyone on the square (including your other crits), but, it would remove the attackers as well (perhaps, a no item drop death, or no gold, to prevent 1 random person from walking in and picking up 200 lode's or pots.... lol)

Oh I see why you made your other post obviously you are gettin pk'd and threw a fit about it.

(not sure why that didn't quote right...)

Err, yes, I am getting tired of trying to train level 20 crits, when 1 arch walks up, and 1-3 party members on thier first round of attacks.

Exodia:
Also a good point. Well, why would you risk your crits to gain 0 exp? If other than for a rank? The risk of losing exp based on a rank image... would be a serious tradeoff.

Then either learn to run or train in less obvious areas, I can kill a arch with 3-4 lvl 20s lol heal fast, use pots fast or run fast PKing part of the game we have all been through it at one point.

Well, if you haven't figured it out yet, people travel just about any decent exp area. So, you can take 4x as long training, and lower the risk (slightly), of getting PK'd, or, you can hope for the best, and 'try' to avoid what you can. But, fact of the matter, if the Arch also has pots, then, the level 20's have no chance. As the Arch can surely round at 'least' 1 level 20 (at the very least), in 1 round, where as the level 20's, would have to combine at least 2-4 rounds, to even add the damage to the Arch's HP (Not even factoring in the pots). But, when was the last time, you saw 1 arch, by himself, PK'ing? Doesn't really happen very often, and the entire situation, was 'example' at best.

Edit:
There may or may not be more than 1, especially when dealing with invis. And at the first sign of something like that, would be time to leave... so, not sticking around to 'count' the number being used.

I have probably figured out more then you have/will ever actually, and I didn't complain about gettin pk'd along the way, and incase you didnt notice people will target you more for posts like this if they find who you are in game, it shows them that it gets to you,my advice is take it in stride, if everyone made a post because they were sick of gettin pk'd the forums would be a mess.

What difference does it really make? If someone were to come across me, while training, and had the capability to pk, they would most likely do it, but, not for the reason of posting here.

You can use a regular explosive for that. They may not kill everyone on the square, but if a player dies and they drop an explosive, like a Fireburst Potion, it goes live and will go off at any time.

That is a bit over the top reasoning. But, perhaps something near/close to those lines, as an added concept? Perhaps a new item, that would prevent instant deaths from attacks?
Exp:
Zerker Smite:
It does randomly does damage when it doesn't kill the target, perhaps something that would just prevent the instant killing, but perhaps the non-killing damage, would be more than remaining HP, and kill anyway? I mean come on, who wouldn't want their cleric to resist assassinations? ;)

i think this idea could work but perhaps with a twist the grenaide should only be able to be made by having certain alts at certain levels which fits into the way nm runs and maybe you would need to collect things to be able to create it and you have to use low level alts to collect the items

yeah, here's an anti-pk device, how about after you get killed, you are forcibly prevented from returning to the general vicinity for 4 hours. that would probably keep the pking down a little bit. i know most of my victims were regular customers who could've used a rule like that.
