i have seen to many new people quit because they are such an easy target for people to pk.i know someone has mentioned a time allowed where there can be no pking done when you first log on. i suggest the character level 5 limit for pking be changed to level 10. this way a person has a chance to build a small amout of gold, get decent equipment, and get a feel for the areas around nightmist before they are ripped to shreds by pkers...i don't know if this will get alot of support...but it is worth a try. a few staff people don't think it is a bad idea either..lets see shall we? ;)

not so long ago i would disagree but in the modern nighmist we need to give noobs all the help they can get. when i started there were many many people running around on adepts, massive parties for training. now there are so few people starting from the beginning its so hard to get going. i mean even the old places like swomps have huge parties of people power training 18 zerks at once. makes it very hard for new players to get a grip on the game. I know alot of people will moan at this post, but lets admit it the player base is rotting we need fresh meat.

Not Supported.. They should have to learn early like we all did. There should not be any special treatment. Pking is part of the game, they have to get used to it.

Not supported. By doing this would give new players the impression that Nightmist was easy. Which in turn would bring more crybabies to the game. We have enough of those already. Lets remove the level cap on pking all together and encourage some hardcore players to join the game. The crybabies have pacis.

all im pointing out, is that in the early days, we all had lots and lots of other players to get going with. you bearly see low levels training any more, no new players are joining and sticking with the game. i remember training my first fighter in a party of about 10 other players all runing around the rose garden, it just dont happen any more. it is much much harder then when we all first started.

Lew's right. When alot of the older players started, we could find a party of decent size to join and go train in. But with the lack of new players and the slow rot that is now our playerbase, you just don't see it anymore. So these new players are having to start off alone w/o some of the help we as older players had.
Anywho, SUPPORTED. Let's get and keep some new players.
