not to back rappy or nething but here u said that the silver pistol would be able to be used by any class. so now with the silver pistol as rappy pointed out rangers hit in the high 80's with 21 base damage how are classes gonna hit now with a 29 base damage? If the captain dropped the Silver Pistol it would have to be an even lower drop rate then the spyglass or just about the same rate.
Library info for Silver Pistol:
Base damage: 29, Can be used by: clerics, druids, fighters, mages, paladins, rangers, thieves, berserkers, Description: A pistol that resembles the Six Shooter. Used by Captain Wyslen for years., Level needed to equip it: 30, Magical: Yes, Vamparic: No, Armor: 0, Strength modifier: 0, Intelligence modifier: 0, Dexterity modifier: 0, Constitution modifier: 0, Wisdom modifier: 0, Charisma modifier: 0, Poison chance: 0, Poison/30s damage: 0, Monster damage table:, Mana leech: .
Desc. would need more work. But that would be it

In case you didn't know Rangers also use DUAL SHOT even in rapid fire, so it's DOUBLE the dmg from the BASE on the weapon. Just wanted to clarify that for some people. <no bow, no dual shot/rapid fire>not to back rappy or nething but here u said that the silver pistol would be able to be used by any class. so now with the silver pistol as rappy pointed out rangers hit in the high 80's with 21 base damage how are classes gonna hit now with a 29 base damage? If the captain dropped the Silver Pistol it would have to be an even lower drop rate then the spyglass or just about the same rate.

I still stand by this.I've been wondering the same thing.this has been suggested many times before, why is it getting approved by playters now when they didnt all the years before
Plus, it just doesn't fit in with nightmist.
While I think it is interesting and well put together, I don't think it fits.Your storyline behind their history is nicely written, but I feel that Gunslingers are a bit too far ahead of Nightmist's time of swords, knights and wizardry. Gunpowder might have been invented by this time, but not in portable pistols, or even muskets, but most likely in the form of small bombs, like the Satchel Charges thrown by the Dwarven Grenadiers.
I really do think that your description and history is well written and designed, but considering the setting of Nightmist, I just don't see how it fits in all that well.
What the what?

So how do you explain Captain Wylsen's Silver Pistol?I still stand by this.

Edit: And an Airship ffs. I think NM is in advanced enough times, just because people use swords doesn't mean it's medieval.

Like I've said before. I really don't have any way of explaining that.I honestly couldn't answer that, as I didn't have anything to do with the creation or introduction of this area.Umm but Cappy has pistol....did he come from the future or something?.....
I'm just stating my opinion, as right or wrong as it may be. I don't feel that it fits well in game.
I wasn't the person who wrote the area, I wasn't the person who had it introduced.
I think staff have referred to the game as "medieval" before, though I might be mistaken.
What the what?
