That sound clip has been used to extreme here in the UK (not sure if elsewhere). Its been turned into ring tones of various degrees, it's all over the TV adverts, and there's even a song..

That sound was actually funny when used in the right context (ie. that page), but it's since been spoiled by that Crazy Frog nutse.

I live in the US and I've never heard it before. Made me laugh, though I can clearly see how that can become annoying.
