This should not be aloud... People giving money for game pics fits under the catagory for buying ingame items for IRL money. Don't say it helps the game, I know it does, but the person is profiting for IRL stuff. Submitting them for the better of the game, fine. But profiting from it shouldn't be aloud, even if it's only 20k.

Um, Firstly, 20k a picture isn't exactly going to unbalance the game especially if the 20k reward money is funded by other player's pockets.

Secondly, What harm does it do anyway? 20k at most will buy oh say, 2 Spiked Shields. No major problem there.

Thirdly. Wow, Way to finally jump up and voice against this. I mean this has been ongoing since the end of May 2004. Heck, Read the 1st page,

in that case, people should give the pic to you, that way you know who it came from, then you send it to me, when i add it, you pay the person

If people getting trivial amounts of gold for adding pictures to the game bothers you that much, how about getting your Pencils and Crayons out and submit images for free?

Real-life/role-play trading... maybe so, but players are giving the gold out of generosity, not the staff. As corrupt as it may seem, gold awards can be a good incentive for people to submit art to Nightmist in order to reduce the number of NO-PIC monsters and items, and thus improve the game's quality overall.

Although I like making the occasional image in order to make Nightmist a better game and to practise my computer graphical skills, I would be lying to say that gold did not give me an extra incentive. For one thing, the images that people most wanted I found very hard to conceive and thus create... the Tomb Spirit has been my best effort so far (I feel).

That's usually due to a broken link.
