On the Air Ship, days before it crashed in the desert. There were Five people on the Air Ship who acted as the Policing Ranks of the Ship. Keeping things in order and in check. They were called 'The Gunslingers' By Captain Wyslen. They were like his pride and joy. They were trained in combat using Pistols and Heavy Guns. The day before the crash, The Gunslingers were beginning to get fed up with the Captain and his ideas. So, When the ship was beginning to go down, they took the oppurtunity to evacuate without anyone noticing they had fled. When they landed on the ground and got out of there parachutes. They found themselves to the north of a great city. The Five Gunslingers decided to go into the City and see where they were. The Five Gunslingers were, Nathaniel, The most skilled of all of them. Samuel, He was one rank lower then Nathaniel in firearms. Vincent, The craziest out of them all, But still very skilled. Simon, The youngest of them, but with most of his life as experience. Last but not least, Julias, The less skilled of them all, But what he lacks in skill he makes up for with Bravery.
These Five strangers walked in through the North Gatehouse of NightMist. Upon entering they were eyed by the residents of the city very closely. Once in the Market square, They were approached by a man with a knife, Threatening to kill them if they do not hand over there gold. The Gunslingers having no gold, pulled there guns out on the man and put the barrels to his face. The man laughed and went to stab at one of them, having not seen a gun before in his life. He never saw another one, The guards quickly rushed the strangers and overpowered them before they could get another shot off. Fearing what they do not understand, The city of Night Mist was scared and the Guards threw them in the Jail for months. When they were finally released, they were handed there weapons back and told to never cause trouble again, Or the sentence would be death.
So the Five Gunslingers were met with a decision. To either stay here and wait to be killed for there attitudes, Or travel this new world and make a living. Nathaniel being the smartest of them came up with an idea, To teach these new people the ways of being a Gunslinger. The others quickly agreed with the idea. Julias, Came up with the idea to spread out to surounding cities and establish training centers. The others agreed with this. Julias stated that he would stay in Night Mist and help start adventurers on there quest for becoming a Gunslinger. Simon, Decided to make his training center in the distant city of Blackthorn, Where adventurers may make a worthy travel to prove themselves before he would train them further. Vincent, Decided to set his training center up in the closest city of Rest Haven, He liked the scenery there and enjoys a challenge in the Arena's created by Rest Haven. Samuel, Said his farewell to Nathaniel, his brother.(didnt see that one coming did yah?!) and went to the near city of Arilin to train these new Gunslingers all he knows before they must make the perilous journey to be trained by Nathaniel. Nathaniel, Being the strongest, traveled into the barren Desert. Walking along the paths, he could see the airship that they had abandoned so many months ago. He did not care to see if anyone was alive, he was through with that part of his life. He made his way to the overrun city of Jahanna which he found to be much to his liking. He set up his training center there within an abandoned building, And now waits for any young Gunslingers wishing to go on with this new experience.
Now... If this thing gets passed for NM2 or for the regular one, I'll make the weapons descriptions and such...

Thats my main reason for supporting this one, would be cool to be like Roland (last of the gunslingers) BTW the book is like 5 or 6 books so unless you like to read don't bother AND if you have read the books then you know later that he goes on to train a few more people in the art of gunslinging... which is cool

Changing the purchasing interface to say that you crafted the weapons instead of buying them might be a nice accent piece.

Weapons.
The first weapon can only be bought in Night Mist, And only bought at lvl 1.
Library info for Six Shooter:
Base damage: 7, Can be used by: gunslingers, Description: Made by the Gunslinger Julias, This weapon is capable of shooting six shots before having to be reloaded. It is simple in design for a weapon of the Gunslingers but packs a punch when used properly., Level needed to equip it: 1, Magical: No, Vamparic: No, Armor: 0, Strength modifier: 0, Intelligence modifier: 0, Dexterity modifier: 0, Constitution modifier: 0, Wisdom modifier: 0, Charisma modifier: 0, Poison chance: 0, Poison/30s damage: 0, Monster damage table: Mana leech: .
Yeah i know, Damage is 7 for a lvl 1?! Thats because you cant get another weapon until lvl 12 wich can only be bought in Black Thorn.
Library info for Double Chamber Pistol:
Base damage: 18, Can be used by: gunslingers, Description: Crafted by the Gunslinger Simon, This gun hold two shots in the chamber that are three times bigger then a single bullet for the Six Shooter. Though it may look awkward to aim, the damage is suffecient enough., Level needed to equip it: 12, Magical: No, Vamparic: No, Armor: 0, Strength modifier: 0, Intelligence modifier: 0, Dexterity modifier: 0, Constitution modifier: 0, Wisdom modifier: 0, Charisma modifier: 0, Poison chance: 0, Poison/30s damage: 0, Monster damage table: , Mana leech: .
Yeah, Damage is 18 for a lvl 12?! Thats just cuz you cant get the other weapon till lvl 18, That can only be bought in RH.
Library info for Shot Gun:
Base damage: 23, Can be used by: gunslingers, Description: Crafted by the Gunslinger Vincent, a long single chamber runs down from the handle of the gun surounded by oak on each sides for a better grip. The shot gun feels heavy at first but once you get accustomed to the weight it should feel near weightless. The weapon only has room for one shot that covers a wide area with abusive results., Level needed to equip it: 18, Magical: No, Vamparic: No, Armor: 0, Strength modifier: 0, Intelligence modifier: 0, Dexterity modifier: 0, Constitution modifier: 0, Wisdom modifier: 0, Charisma modifier: 0, Poison chance: 0, Poison/30s damage: 0, Monster damage table: , Mana leech: .
Yeah, I know... The damage is 23 for a lvl 18?! Thats just cuz you dont... You know what im gonna say already. You get the next weapon at lvl 24 in Arilin, and only in Arilin.
Library info for Revolver:
Base damage: 25, Can be used by: gunslingers, Description: Crafted by the Gunslinger Samuel, This weapon is a much larger version of the Six Shooter. The Revolver holds 8 shots inside of its chambers, once the trigger is pulled, another chamber is lined up and the bullet is fired out of it., Level needed to equip it: 24, Magical: No, Vamparic: No, Armor: 0, Strength modifier: 0, Intelligence modifier: 0, Dexterity modifier: 0, Constitution modifier: 0, Wisdom modifier: 0, Charisma modifier: 0, Poison chance: 0, Poison/30s damage: 0, Monster damage table: , Mana leech: .
Yeah , Now that seems like more reasonable damage doesnt it? Now the next one you can only get in Jahanna..
Library info for Slinger's Pride:
Base damage: 27, Can be used by: gunslingers, Description: Crafted by the greatest Gunslinger Nathaniel, This weapon is gold plated with slabs of smoothed down leather on each side of the handle allowing the handle to mold to your hand as if it were made for you. The gun, instead of coming with a revolving chamber, comes with a clip. A new type of weapon that Nathaniel has been testing for some time. The clip is loaded with up to 16 bullets and inserted underneath the handle. Once this is done, you must pull back on the sliding mechanism that covers the chamber, loading a bullet into the chamber and aligning the others so you will not have to keep pulling back the mechanism. This weapon is the rarest of Gunslinger guns, Not even the others know of his invention. ., Level needed to equip it: 30, Magical: Yes, Vamparic: No, Armor: 0, Strength modifier: 0, Intelligence modifier: 0, Dexterity modifier: 0, Constitution modifier: 0, Wisdom modifier: 0, Charisma modifier: 0, Poison chance: 0, Poison/30s damage: 0, Monster damage table: , Mana leech: ,
There it is folks, The last weapon a Gunslinger will ever need. Packs a punch but only because you cant use any of the other weapons Night Mist has to offer, Thus creating balance. Now on for the pricing...
Six Shooter - 150 gp
Double Chamber Pistol - 1500 gp
Shot Gun - 8000
Revolver - 15000
Slinger's Pride - 70000
Races that could be Gunslingers
Humans
Elfs
Dwarves
Half-Elfs
And Maybe Halflings... Havent thought that one through yet. Imagine a midge holding a shot gun and firing it, Can we say "Flying Halflings"?
Abilities, Havent really thought if Abilities should be added to this class. Maybe one....
Accuracy - Triples the damage of your attack but takes 2 stamina to use it. 35% chance of hitting with each use. And im not too sure on how to make up the calculations for all the other things you need for abilities. Only able to use after lvl 18.
Stamina.

Also might bring more people into the P2P situation, thus giving more cash for better enhancements onto it!Interesting...
It would certainly push the game into more of 'World of Warcraft' type setting. Warcraft and Final Fantasy are the only games I have seen where guns and swords do equal damage.

If you read above... If Wyslen dropped the pistol, No other class would be able to use it other then Gunslingers. Seeing as, by the storyline, Only gunslingers would know how to use them.I like it Have often thought i would like Mr Wylsen to drop one of his nice Sliver Pistols, and have one of my rangers use it

VIva la revolution? duh this is the new age of nm dude, back then we were hard on non-change cause we liked things the way they were, but now, we need some new elements to keep the thought process purculating.this has been suggested many times before, why is it getting approved by playters now when they didnt all the years before
